The Max Miller Appreciation Society is proud that a premises has now been found where its collection can be exhibited.

The exhibition was opened on Sunday, 7th. June 2009 by Michael Aspel OBE and visited by Ken Dodd OBE Patron of the Max Miller Appreciation Society a few weeks later.

The pub sign (seen in the left photo) was recovered from a skip in Kennington after the Cheeky Chappie Pub was demolished.

CHANGING ROOMS

The exhibition has been relocated into the main dining room of Bardsley’s. Regretably there was no room for the display cabinet containing the suit but the new location is certainly more desirable for telling the story of Max.
